This
painting is an interpretation of a photo that a guide/outfitter friend
let me use. I liked the light filling the trees in the background, the
waves around the rocks and my friend, the guide, helping a fellow fisher
across a deep stretch of water. I can recall many moments during hiking
or canoeing trips when we have fjorded deep streams like this. Helping
each other. Capturing this moment was symbolic of what we do in times
in our lives when being there for others becomes a matter of simply reaching
out.
